We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, sales, and relationship building. This role will be responsible for hunting new business opportunities, establishing key customer relationships, driving sales growth, and meeting monthly targets. The Business Development Executive will also need to stay updated on current market conditions, trading trends, and emerging opportunities within the industry. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to successfully close deals are essential to excel in this role.
Responsibilities:
• Prospect and identify potential new clients, converting leads into increased business opportunities within the petrochemical trading sector.
• Expand the current prospect database within specified trading sectors, generating effective leads and exceeding sales targets on a monthly basis.
• Develop a comprehensive sales contact plan, utilizing direct marketing strategies and attending industry events to build relationships with key prospects in the trading community.
• Formulate and execute business development, marketing, and sales strategies that generate new trading opportunities and facilitate successful trades.
• Conduct negotiations with clients, leveraging your expertise in trading dynamics to secure favorable outcomes and successfully close deals.
• Assist in business negotiations, ensuring that contractual terms and conditions are favorable for the company.
• Develop and oversee overseas subsidiaries, as well as other trading initiatives, ensuring effective cross-border transactions and expanding the company's trading network.
• Respond to incoming Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in a professional and creative manner, showcasing your trading acumen.
• Collaborate with technical staff and internal colleagues to meet customer needs effectively, ensuring seamless execution of trading transactions.
• Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs, analyzing trading outcomes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Present to and consult with mid and senior-level management on emerging trading trends, identifying opportunities for new trading services, products, and distribution channels.
• Facilitate meetings between client decision-makers and the company's practice leaders, leveraging your expertise to drive successful trading collaborations.
• Ensure accurate data entry and management within the company's trading systems, including trade execution platforms and risk management tools.
• Provide regular feedback to senior management regarding marketplace dynamics, trading strategies, and competitor activities, enabling informed decision-making.
• Meet monthly targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive individual and team success in the highly competitive trading environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Proven track record in business development, sales, and client relationship management preferably within the trading industry.
• Extensive knowledge of the petrochemical trading industry, including market conditions, trading strategies, and emerging opportunities.
• Strong networking and prospecting skills, with the ability to convert leads into tangible trading opportunities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to develop and implement effective business development, marketing, and sales strategies tailored for the trading environment.
• Flexibility to travel as required to attend trading conferences, and industry events, and meet clients nationally and internationally.
• Highly motivated, with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for the intricacies of trading.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying trading opportunities.

• Salary: Rs35,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
